The President of The Tokyo Women's Club, Ms. Hayashi's greeting, and the financial report by the Treasurer, Ms. Kasuga, were followed by talk on Buddhism.
Ms. Rinko Okano and Ms. Karen Okano talked on "Buddhism in modern Japanese life and the experiences in Men's world." It was interesting in particular that Buddhism has had a great influence on Japanese culture, for example, tea ceremony, lyrics, and words "ARIGATOU" meaning "Thank you" and "OKAGESAMA" meaning "Thanks to you" and etc.
At the teatime, Madame Jamila Suwaidi, wife of Ambassador to Qatar, proposed a toast.
Also, Madame Laura Hygnanga, wife of Charge d'affairs to Gabon, Madame Wided Darragi, wife of Ambassador to Tunisia, Madame Kumiko Meric, wife of Ambassador to Turkey, and Madame Daw Khin Soe Naung, wife of Ambassador to Myanmer, were present.
