Program: Cultural Learning followed by Indonesian Cuisine
Greetings by the Ambassador of Indonesia, H.E. Dr. Mahendra, and the TWC President, Ms. Hayashi, were followed by music performance by Indonesian traditional instruments called “angklung.”
We also enjoyed playing the angklung and seeing an Indonesian girls’ dance called “thousand hands.”
Madame Dewi Mahendra entertained us with delicious Indonesian cuisines as well. She also kindly gave us a book titled “Secret Recipes from Ambassador’s Kitchen” written by herself.
It was very fine. Some people enjoyed food and wine in the large back garden.
There were 50 attendees in all.
